Theodore I. Malinin

MD

Dr. Theodore Malinin graduated as an MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and completed his fellowship at the University of Virginia and University of Cambridge.

Dr. Malinin has written more than 200 articles on bone grafting, and has acted as a bone expert for major national news media. Dr. Malinin has been instrumental in the founding Tissue Banks all over North America.

Arun Garg

DMD

Dr. Arun K. Garg completed his engineering and also his dental degree at the University of Florida and subsequently completed his residency training at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Garg served as a full-time Professor of Surgery in the Division of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine, and also served as Director of the Residency Training Program for 18 years. Currently he is on the visiting faculty at the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry, and has located his private practice for patient care in the Aventura area of Miami.

Dr. Garg has authored 3 well-recognized textbooks, which have currently been translated into 8 different languages, and has published well over 80 articles, and more than 12 book chapters. He is editor of a monthly newsletter, Dental Implantology Update, and serves on the editorial boards of 4 other leading journals. He is the immediate past president of the largest implant association in the world with over 12,000 members, the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Jack Hahn

DDS

Dr Jack Hahn is a recognized leader and pioneer in implant dentistry. He has been actively involved in implant dentistry nearly 40 years. Dr. Hahn has developed implant devices and techniques that are widely used throughout the world today. Examples being, Nobel Replace tapered implant system, osteotomes and small diameter provisional implants. For the past 25 years, he has taught dentist from all over the world basic principals of achieving safe, simple, successful bone grafting, implant placements and restoration. Dr Hahn is a clinical investigator and has published numerous articles as well as co-authored two text books. He is the Past President of The American Board of Oral Implantology and Implant Dentistry. Dr Hahn has an active practice limited to implant dentistry in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Robert E. Marx

DDS

Dr. Robert E. Marx is a retired Professor of Surgery and former Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Jackson South Medical Center. He remains an active lecturer in the U.S. and internationally and serves as Chief Scientific Consultant for the Stem Cell Division of Lenkbar Medical Devices.

Dr. Marx has received numerous awards, including the Donald B. Osbon Educator Award, the Harry S. Archer Award, the Paul Bert Award, the William J. Gies Award, and two AAOMS Research Recognition Awards.

A decorated U.S. Air Force veteran, he served 22 years, including in Operation Desert Storm, earning honors such as the Meritorious Service Medal and Legion of Merit.

He is a pioneer of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), and was a lead investigator in the development and FDA approval of recombinant human Bone Morphogenetic Protein-2 (rhBMP-2). He also first identified the bone toxicity risks of bisphosphonates and RANKL inhibitors.

Dr. Marx has authored over 150 peer-reviewed articles and 12 medical textbooks, including Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology: A Rationale for Diagnosis and Treatment.
